Hi, I’m Lea — a freelance filmmaker and photographer, Swiss by passport, raised all over the globe, and now based in New York City.

I’ve always been a visual storyteller. I drew comics as a kid, wrote my first screenplay at 13, and eventually found my home behind the camera - where everything just clicked. Whether through film, the written word, or photography, I’m drawn to capturing emotion, connection, and the beauty in being different.

After studying acting under the legendary Bill Esper, I shifted my focus to directing - telling heartfelt, uplifting stories that blend visual poetry, emotional truth, and a hint of rebellious spirit.

Alongside my film work, I’m a freelance photographer specializing in film stills, actor headshots, and events.

No matter the medium, my mission is the same: to tell stories that see people, to empower, uplift and spread a hopeful narrative.
